WHAT SUPPORT DO YOU GET?
Once you are approved, you will join an extended family of foster carers who are supervised and supported by a dedicated highly skilled, team around the child. This includes a Supervising Social Worker; Therapists; a Registered Manager; Support Workers and Administration Officers. As a team, they are focused entirely on the needs of the child and the foster family.
As well as formal support, including regular (at least monthly) supervision by your Supervising Social Worker, we are dedicated to building and sustaining relationships. This enables us to be responsive and flexible in our contact with foster carers, their families, and young people in care; we’re available in person, over the phone, by email, and by text.
As a foster parent with Caldecott, you will have a dedicated Supervising Social Worker allocated to you. It’s their job to support you and your family while you are caring for a foster child. Our foster parents say our support is fantastic.
